Storage Policy

  • Completed furniture and projects must be picked up or scheduled for delivery within thirty (30) days of completion or invoice date, unless prior arrangements have been made.
  • Items remaining at Stump’s Upholstery Design beyond this period will be subject to a monthly storage fee. Storage fees will be assessed beginning on the 31st day and will continue to accrue on a monthly basis until the item(s) are picked up or delivered.
  • Storage fees are based on the size and quantity of items and will be added to the client’s final balance. Items will not be released until all outstanding balances, including storage fees, have been paid in full.
  • Storage fees are assessed at a minimum rate of $20 per item, per month.
  • Any items left unclaimed for an extended period (1 year or longer) may be considered abandoned and subject to disposal or resale, in accordance with applicable laws.

  • Stump's Upholstery, Inc (DBA Stump's Upholstery Design) is a residential and commercial upholstery shop specializing in all aspects of reupholstery as well as new and custom upholstery.
  • Stump's Upholstery, Inc (DBA Stump's Upholstery Design) does not warrant fabrics purchased. Fabric warranty's are dependent on the supplier's or manufacturer's warranty. Normal wear and tear, pet damage, damage from improper use, and staining are typically non-covered issues. 
  • Deposits are non-refundable and are considered intent to proceed. We require deposits in advance in order to secure materials for your project.
  • All completed projects must be paid for in full at time of pickup or delivery. Cash or Check is preferred and not subject to a surcharge. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover; a 3% surcharge will be applied to all credit card transactions, as indicated on the quote.

  • Stump's Upholstery, Inc (DBA Stump's Upholstery Design) has a dedicated service team for pickups and deliveries. Pickup and delivery fees vary depending on location. Typically complimentary within Lancaster County (exclusions do apply). 
  • All images on the Stump's Upholstery, Inc (DBA Stump's Upholstery Design) website and social media pages are considered intellectual property and are protected by law.
  • You agree to receive informational messages and marketing messages (appointment reminders, account notifications, promos etc.) from Stump's Upholstery, Inc DBA Stump's Upholstery Design.
