We traveled from South Jersey for Stump's to reupholster an antique chair. No one in our area was willing to do any work on something that wasn't marine upholstery .

I found them via referral from a furniture store in Lancaster County and we were so pleased with not only the workmanship, but the price and the timeframe it took to complete the work.

So much so that we brought them another project and just like the first one, it was a wonderful experience all around. The staff is very courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. The communication was also excellent.

I had the best experience working with Stump’s Upholstery Design. They took an old, worn out chair that my Dad bought for his Dad’s office, that was eventually passed back down to my Dad, who, in turn gave it to me, and turned it into a work of art. They were patient with me, as it took me a long time to pick out a fabric. But once I did, the process was pretty quick. The chair is absolutely stunning. It is like having a piece of my Dad with me again. It is nice to know we will be able to continue to pass it down as a family heirloom for years to come. They even came and picked the chair up and delivered it when it was done. I would recommend Stump’s to anyone looking for expert craftsmanship and design.

Stump's recovered a chair and chair seat along with making new decorative bed pillows for us. The work was outstanding.  The chair was covered in a striped material and the stripes were matched to perfection. Their selection of materials is extensive and they are helpful in choosing ones that will work for you. While you have a wait of several months to get your work done, it is worth it for the end results.
